Abigail L. DeCoursey
Legal Administrator and Paralegal
Abigail is the Senior Paralegal at Betz + Blevins and provides legal support to the entire firm. She is actively involved in case management and organization as well as communications with clients and opposing parties. Abigail generates preliminary drafts of legal pleadings and correspondence and conducts legal research in a variety of cases. She regularly assists the attorneys at trials and hearings including serving as the trial technician. Abigail is well versed in and experienced with electronic discovery issues.
In addition to her paralegal duties, Abigail is the firm’s Legal Administrator and performs and oversees a variety of duties at Betz + Blevins including bookkeeping, monthly billing to clients, personnel matters and general office management.
Abigail is a graduate of Indiana University–Indianapolis, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in legal studies.
Abigail has been an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators since 2011 and currently serves as the Secretary of the Indiana Chapter. She previously served as the Internship Chair for the ALA L.I.F.E Beyond Shortridge Program, which taught students at Shortridge Magnet High School about various aspects of working in law firms and provided opportunities for paid internships each summer. Abigail also serves on the board of Nameless Creek Youth Camp, whose mission is to increase the appreciation of nature and the enjoyment of the outdoors by creating year-round recreational, educational, and camping opportunities for the youth, families, and communities of Hancock and surrounding counties.

Jami R. Roberts
Billing Administrator and Paralegal
Jami is an Indiana native who joined Betz + Blevins in 2022 as a Legal Administrative & Billing Assistant. She wanted to be part of the Betz + Blevins team because she loves helping others. Jami received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Human Resources Management from Indiana University – Indianapolis Kelley School of Business.
Jami provides administrative support to the firm’s Legal Administrator with financial and accounting matters as well as drafting and finalizing client engagement letters, settlement distribution letters, and letters ending representation. She also communicates with clients regarding the terms of their engagements with the firm.
With a background in customer service, human resources, and office administration, she assists the firm with a variety of duties. Jami answers intake calls, facilitates scheduling consultations, handles accounts payable and receivable, as well as client communications regarding billing matters. In addition to monthly billing, Jami supports the attorneys with tracking and entering their billable time. She also assists the attorneys with paralegal and administrative tasks.
When Jami is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, interior design, and vacationing to warm, sunny destinations as often as she can.

McKenzie Rock-Duymovic
Legal Assistant
With a robust 16-year background spanning the airline industry, hotel management, and automotive dealership operations, McKenzie joined Betz + Blevins as a Legal Administrative Assistant to fulfill a longstanding goal of helping people in the legal industry. She exemplifies the “help-in-every-which-way-possible” philosophy, with a deep commitment to service and a natural talent for problem-solving.
Outside of the office, McKenzie’s world revolves around her family. A proud mother of two, she recently celebrated her wedding at the end of 2025. When she isn’t supporting the firm, she is likely planning her next family getaway—she is a dedicated Disney enthusiast who jumps at every chance to vacation in Florida.
