Biography
Harley began working at Betz + Blevins as a law clerk in May of 2025 after graduating from IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She sought to work at Betz + Blevins because she is passionate about protecting the Constitutional Rights of individuals. She is a strong advocate for the advancement of women and other minorities, accessible education, and affordable housing in Indiana. She is now an associate at the firm.
Harley was the first woman in her family to obtain a college degree when she graduated from IU Bloomington in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While her studies focused primarily on cellular biology, her passion for advocacy led her to apply to law school.
In law school, Harley served as the President of the Student Bar Association and her legal education was concentrated in Civil & Human Rights Law as well as Health Law. Harley’s academic excellence earned her an invitation to join Phi Delta Phi. After her initiation, she would go on to serve as the President of McKinney’s Phi Delta Phi Chapter, Willkie Inn. Harley also volunteered in McKinney’s Law Clinic where she studied Indiana’s landlord-tenant laws. Her pro-bono work included representing low-income tenants facing eviction in Warren Township Small Claims Court as well as in Marion Superior Court.
Prior to joining Betz + Blevins, Harley served as a law clerk for Becker, Bouwkamp, Walker, P.C. where she worked with attorneys practicing both Family Law and Property Law.
